Has Michael Phelps ever been tested for drugs ?

Before anyone has a go at me I am NOT suggesting that he is. I am NOT trying to take any of the glory from what appears to be the worlds greatest swimmer. The only reason for my question is because he is so famous the drug testers would be to embarrassed to ask him to take a test.Does anyone know if any drug tester has been brave enough to ask him and if so when ?

They have been showing his schedule almost everyday since the Olympics started.

ALL athletes at the Olympics get tested after every event.

He takes the tests voluntarily. He doesn't wait to be called for testing.

For the record he has been tested and more than once,im looking

it should be, he was the apostle that doubted  Jesus and he  beleived

only when he felt with his hands, and seen with his eyes did he then

beleive, and was deeply sorry and begged forgiveness for having doubted at all..............Look at all of us in my Church this a.m.

none of us had what Thomas was given...proof...yet we were there

one and all and will continue to be there until he calls us home to

Yes after every heat and Gold medal race. Sit there for an hour and they test him clean everytime.

Of course he should be tested like anyone else, I'm no expert here but I did see a clip on TV from one spokesmen who claimed testing is more thorough this games than it has ever been previously. So I guess and expect he has.

It doesn't really matter whether the drug testers are "embarrassed" to give him a test, because the level at which he competes at requires all athlete to be tested for performance enhancements.  In order to compete, he has to pass the tests.

It is my understanding that the athletes are tested prior to competing and after compeitition is over with. Also they are tested before and during the trials for the right to compete in the games, before the olympics even begins.
