Question:

Has NASCAR not did any investigating into the #18 Sprint Cup team?

Ya know how they did the #18 & #20 Nationwide teams? They checked out those cars really good and caught them cheating. Why would the Sprint Cup team ~ mainly the #18 team be any different? It like they are getting away with something that NASCAR hasn't caught onto yet or found.

How can Kyle race after race just fly up thru the field so quickly, and get such a jump on the field every restart when he's leading and him winning races all of the time?

Last year when he was at HMS in the #5 he was always wrecking and probably got the most DNF's last year. So whats so different about this year? If you ask me, his team has found a way to outsmart NASCAR. And every time I see that Steve Addington guy, he's got a devious and sneaky look and snarl on his face. I just don't like him anymore than I like Kyle Busch.

I think NASCAR needs to do some intensive investigating into that #18 team and their car after races.

  1. Beam me up Scotty... Dork!

  2. I think NASCAR needs to check on the sprint cup cars for Joe Gibbs Racing since they might be cheating there too. I think that they also need to look into the #18 pits, garage area and his car to see if they are cheating and make Kyle Busch win every week.

  3. First off, I am not a fan of Shrubbie. But, you can't compare apples to oranges. He didn't do much at HMS, but it was a different team, and MORE importantly, a different car. Maybe this COT fits his driving style better, and we all know the team does! It's not a bad theory considering we have seen dominant drivers from the last two years struggle with this new car.

I don't want to see him win all the time, I don't like him. But, I am not one to believe just because you are dominating you are cheating. As for Steve Addington, I like him immensely. He has an infectious smile and camaraderie on camera. He acts very humble as tries to say that the 18 teams success is all driver.

  4. They inspect the cars after the races. There's no "there" there so give it a rest. If there were probable cause they would have a long time ago.

Carl Edwards has won almost as manyraces. Is he cheating too?

  5. First off the Nationwide cars infraction was "afterthe  race",the magnets were put there to alter results of the dyno.

As for investigating why wasn, the 24 and 48 investigated last year? They were driving hard and winning.

Busch is doing the same thing .

If there is a problem then NASCAR will take it up,but until NASCAR sees a problem the races go on.

  6. Nascar allows Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson to cheat all the time. How do you think Jimmie Johnson won his two championships? he cheated and his crew chief is the best in Nascar for cheating. Nascar has always bent the rules for Chevy drivers. Do not worry nascar will s***w Busch out of the championship because he drives a toyota.

  7. Look at the history of the #5 car at HMS since Gordon has joined the team...there is no way you can tell me that that car has not been used as a 'test' car with new parts and ideas since he joined the team. Yes, the #5 gets wins now and again but overall preformance is poor. Kyle making it into the chase in that car was a sign of is talent.

Now Kyle is getting 1st class cars and equipment. What he can do with a car is now being shown.

With that said, I am NOT a Shrub fan...I tolerate him because he is Stewart's teammate for a few more races before Tony goes back to Chevrolet.

  8. So you're saying whenever a driver is doing good.... they're cheating?

  9. they won't bacuse it would just make too much of a problem...plus with him driving toyota and nascar trying to keep them in the sport, its likely we won't see anything happen. but i wonder what the deal is since they stripped JJ's car after the talledeaga race last year...he only had 10 wins by the end of the season...Busch has 8 wins and the chase hasn't started yet. JJ only had 5 or 6 at this time last year.

  10. Who knows why he is doing so much better at this point. But im tired of NASCAR ignoring his dirty driving.  Im glad Edwards gave him a taste of his own medicine , and then Shrub goes whining cause someone did to him what hes been doing to everyone else.  Yea he drives rough , kinda like Earnhardt SR. did , but at least Sr says "Yea I knocked him outa the way"  Shrub just blames everyone else for everything.  He needs to grow up.  If he is going to drive rough like he has a set. Then he needs to grow up and take responsibility for what he does like he has a set.

  11. nope.

I don't think they are "necissarily" cheating in Sprint Cup... its just they are ahead. in 2003 when they entered NASCAR, Toyota got a clean slate. They got to do tons of research and new testing for brand new equipment, while Chevrolet, Dodge, and Ford are all stuck with their old engines and old equipment.

They might be cheating though. I heard JGR has a special front end setup just for Busch that gives him an advantage, this is why he pulls away and also this is why when he wrecked his car in practice at Pocono, his car was kept mostly covered, check pictures... but still they could be

  12. Nobody is cheating. The toyota motors are generating more HP at a higher rpm. Nascar has not addressed the issue yet.

  13. Post race inspections have always come back clean, all 8 of them.

The dyno tests from Kyle's car just came in, Kurt, Jeff Burton and Mark Martin all have more HP than Kyle's car, so that's not it. It's the driver, it always has been.

As far as last year at HMS, "always wrecking and probably got the most DNF's"

He had 2 DNF's......in comparison last year's champion Jimmie Johnson had 4.

Perhaps you should have done a little more research before posting.

  14. No, and won't happen...Nascar wants Toyota to win (just my opinion)

the Cup Title and keep pouring the money into the sport!

do not get me wrong i like Smoke  and Kyle along with my 11 others but fair??? Nowdays who says Helton and his so called royal rule book is fair?? they figured if they busted them in Nationwide Series, us Fans would be satisfied, but the COT, NOT!
