Question:

Has NFL decided the rule on players with long hair yet ?

There was talk that the players would have to cut their hair . If they DON'T change the rule I hope these players start getting tacked by their hair. Then the NFL will turn it around and call a personal foul on the player who brings down that player in that way.

  1. Personally, I beleive they should have to tuck it into the helmet or the back of the jersey/shoulder pads.   At one time I read that a player is fined $250 for everytime their uniform is not correct at the beginning of a play.   This means little things like a sock not pulled all the way up, or a jersey sleeve pulled up too high.   Notice between plays in the nfl all the players straighten their uniforms every chance they get.  If the NFL is gonna be tough on stuff like that, why would they allow a players hair to cover his name on the back of the jersey(I"ve seen that several times).

Personally, I'm gonna laugh my butt off one of these days when a player comes up with a huge handful of hair after a tackle one of these days, and It will happen eventually.
