I know many voters who (finally) feel that Obama has vetted himself to the American public through the tenacious primary season. We all have a pretty good idea of what we will be getting if he is elected. Through debates, a long campaign, many speeches and proposals, trips abroad...one can agrue that he appears capable and ready.

How will Palin be able to prove the same thing in only two months?? She is the governor of a state whose popluation is smaller than the COUNTY that I live in!! And why does this matter? Because if something happens to McCain, this woman will be in charge of our country and she is no HRC that is for sure.

  1. She is running for VP. He is running for the highest office in the country with no experience. The two do not compare. If you want to compare Obama with McCain, there is no comparison.

  2. Obama is ready to lead in Syria, and Palin is ready to be president of the U.S., if necessary.

Palin has the right spirit, and Obama is a liberal Marxist skunk.

  3. No, that is why McCain's judgment is suspect.  It is less about her and everything to do about a man who would play this card in such a serious and solemn process.  This is not supposed to be a circus.  McCain has proved just how rogue and dangerous he can be.

  4. Population doesn't mean d**k.  Your city leader doesn't control any portion of the military like a Palin does, they don't negotiate with Russia or Canada like Palin has, etc.

Btw, even Joe Biden said Obama's not ready to lead.  When asked it about that later, he said he stood by that statement.  Search for it on Youtube.

  5. Obama has more people in his Flawlessly organized Campaign than Alaska has in the whole State.

  6. Great question!

I think people have started to tire of Obama.

I sense the same kind of excitement for Palin that Obama once had.  She is a very substantial person with a better resume, so I dont think it will take her as long to get on a roll.

  7. Obama has shown that he can lead and has been scrutinized for the last two years and Palin has to be ready because the old man can die anytime.

  8. So.....

the best way to determine if somebody is ready to be President is to just run for President and if the media helps you get the nomination....*ding* you're ready!?

I can't get to your question b/c the premise is absurd.  Roll it back a notch....Obama is STILL not ready.

  9. Right now, I would trust Palin more than Obama to lead the country. She has the character, values and judgment that he lacks.

  10. I have no doubt that Obama has the quality to lead, lead us into a disaster.

All the sexism and chauvinism of the left is on show for everyone today.

    Obama promises change.  McCain delivers.

Palin is going to be a force in this election.

  11. The difference is, Obama is running for President, Palin is running for Vice president. The fact that we are comparing the two makes me laugh.

  12. Until Clinton's said so even his own party wasn't sure......

  13. She has eight more years of elected executive experience, all of it in executive positions.  Obama has ZERO time in executive experience.  As governor she has two years.  As a U S senator Obama has actually served 143 days.  He is known to have more than twenty prominent Communist or extremely socialistic associations and known ties to terrorism.  You can claim it all happened when he was 8 years old but it is an association that he sought, they are friends and have many common socialistic and revolutionary friends who are declared enemies of the U S government.  Obama is a crook and has a maleficent agenda for this country.  I would not claim he was properly vetted as far as most voters are concerned and now is just the beginning.

  14. Palin resume is stronger in 2 years, then Obama weak resume and shakey background

  15. Going on a trip to Europe does not make you experienced in foreign policy.  Obama is not ready to lead.  He proved that while he was in the senate.  He's just another Democrat that bows to the party wishes.

Palin and McCain are mavericks and will clean up Washington and its corruption.

  16. I am impressed with her attempt to pressure the Department of Public Safety to fire her State Trooper brother-in-law. I mean, what's the point of working to become rich and powerful if it doesn't make any difference?

  17. I don't think OBamas speeches make him ready to lead.

I agree with Hillary, and Biden that he is not experienced enough.

I trust a short term Governor, more than short term Senator.

  18. The stupid thing is that they have pretty much  the same experience. Obama would have to take office from day one and run things. Palin would have time if something happens to McCain.

  19. You post here. You know that two months won't be enough time to fight off all the lies and smears that will inevitably come her way. This is a great choice for the Democrats and Obama. You know the drill, get ready for every nut case and jealous former friend or associate to come out of the woodwork to trash her.
