  1. Oh, this will be interesting to watch her "soak up" an accelerated Republican education in natonal/world economics and foreign policy.

Alaska's entire state economy and poplulation is smaller than Columbus, Ohio!

  2. McCain has 2 months to inform her what a VP does.

  3. I'm sure she will be and she will do a great job. Obama, on the other side, is the one who should be informed about his responsibilities. He's too busy trying to be the Paris Hilton of Politics.

  4. She must have slept through those Poly Sci classes at U of Idaho, not to mention Social Studies in high school.

I wonder if she had to ask a similar question after she was elected Governor?

  5. I'm certain she has.

You do know that throughout history, and VP possibility always talks it down, regardless of what they really feel, right?  I mean, Senator Biden ruled himself out as VP also.

Edit: Any governor of Alaska has to routinely deal with Russia and Canada over issues such as trade, oil, fishing rights, transportation, security, etc.  How many of those meetings has Senator Obama had again?

  6. No. She is still waiting to hear.

Wait.  That is the job of the Vice President.  Waiting.

  7. the only thing that is clearly defined by the Constitution is that the VP casts the deciding vote in the senate. What happens after that is what ever the president decides to make the VP responsibility. d**k Cheney is how ever the exception. Al Gore really didn't do very much as a vice president, Dan Quayle didn't do very much either. Bush Senior how ever did a lot of other things.

  8. McCain will get around to it.  He just forgot.

  9. Hopefully she is being informed on both the vp job and the president's job.

  10. The only responsibilities of the vice president are president of the senate and to replace the President if necessary.  Shouldn't be to hard to pick up.

Has anyone informed Obama of his responsibilities as senator?  He doesn't seem to understand them.

  11. hey caveman is 2008 already women and men are equal

  12. Yes, VP, they said it many times yesterday.

  13. hear  Obamas responsehttp://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geu92Lb7lI_D...

  14. Do you understand the term, "Playing for the camera"?

  15. Silly liberal...Get ready to lose...again.

  16. I think she knows... has anybody informed Obama he needs to go back to the senate and finish his term yet ?

  17. From what I can tell of her she is going to show up and tell people what she is going to do to define the role of VP as she sees it.
