not curently..... they did experience war way back with the spaniards and the morrocans long long time ago.

Portugal is almost 900 years old.

It went through HUNDREDS of wars over the years, against the Moors, the Spanish, the French, civil wars, etc, etc, etc...

The last war was in the african portuguese colonies of Guinea-Bissau, Angola and Mozambique, from 1962 to 1974 the portuguese army fought the rebels in those colonies who were struggling for independence.

But the portuguese military are currently present in several parts of the world as part of the NATO or UN forces.
