Since he's never quit a match in his life, I wonder if he never took an injury time out either. Anyone know?

  1. Rafa played amazing tennis to win that match and all credit is deserved to him. Im sooo happy the hamburg title is his :) I knew someone would ask a question like this or similar to yours...however Nadal would never ever use a ``injury`` as an exscuse, he is an honest player and can accept defeat. Maybe he isnt ``injured`` so to speak (and thank god for that) However i do believe with all my heart lol His muscle in his thigh was tightening up, and therefore needed a massage from his trainer to shake things off help loosen it up. Seriously Nadal would never fake anything like this he just wouldnt whether you believe that or not is your call. Rafa knows he needs to play 100% against Roger to win the match, he had a long semi final with Novak and so his muscles were a little sore and stiff. Roger on the other hand was off court in about an hour in his semi final match. Rafa would never FAKE anything like this just to distract Roger`s attention, Roger even knows that aswell. Pfft you and this question is sooo annoying accussing him of this wait to see all the Roger fans jumping in saying there man was ``robbed`` that title through Rafa`s cheating !!! Im shocked!!!! Anyway Vamos Rafa he deserved to win !!!! x*x

  2. thank you for asking this question.

i don't know all his injury record but i can tell you that since RG 2007 until now he didn't. he once asked the doctor to cut the tap because he wasn't moving comfortably.

while Nadal, don't let me start. we all Federer fans are furious because of this Charade. and it is not the first time and in similar situation with Federer  leading.

  3. NO HE HAS NOT

  4. last year, Indian wells against Canas and that was AFTER losing the first set. I'm sure he's done it other times too!

dude... I don't see that "point" (about taking the timeout after the set) of yours in your original question . And, how does it matter when you take a timeout? Or now, it's ok to take it after losing the set just because Fed did it?

  5. ok after you think you've proved your point make sure you send it to a major tabloid- I can't wait to know what really happened!!!

  6. Seems to me a lot of players have decided when playing Federer either to default or have time-out.

It's degrading for the players and disrespectful to the 'bums on seats' who have paid to watch tennis to be entertained and educated.

The way tennis is going it will end up like most of wrestling -

    a charade.

Personally I think the fans should adopt the Maori insult when they are aware of this 'ploy'.

  7. i think the right question is :has Roger ever taken an injury timeout & then seemed to be totally fit?

    absolutely noooooooooot

  8. search for it.. last year.. in indian wells..

  9. yes, at the pacific life open  first round against guillamo canas after canas won the first set. i do not know any other because i have just been a tennis fan for about three years.
