Denver Broncos' wide receiver Brandon Marshall has been suspended for three games by Commissioner Roger GoODell (check the capitalization).

What a bunch of bull. What's the guy guilty of? A bad relationship, a traffic violation, and playing indoors and getting hurt? Who among us hasn't done that? I'll admit that if that's all it takes to get suspended from a job, then I should be outright fired from my own job, and fast.

Roger GoODell has gone too far. I've thought he's been close to the line, but now he has certainly crossed it. You just can't bring the hammer on guys for every little mistake, especially when he lets other guys off the hook completely. Marvin Harrison is somehow linked to a MURDER, yet there has been no talk of suspending him, but Marshall is out three games' pay from his league-minimum salary just because GoODell is on a power trip.

  1. Are you Joking?

This guy has had many incidents.

assault on a law enforcement officer, refusal to obey, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer

    DUI

    Domestic Violence

Illegal lane change, no drivers license, no proof of insurance

Douglas County deputies fielded "about 11" calls to Marshall's home since January, 2006

I think this is a pre-emptive strike to try and straighten him up.

Also, there is a Personal Conduct policy.  Maybe your job does not have one...but the NFL does.

I think GOD did the right thing.
