Once an aggressor, always an aggressor? Does Russia really consider any of these breakaway republics out of its control?

  1. Russia is not a loose cannon.  Yes, it was a Soviet-era tactic, but don't forget Putin was head of the KGB during that era.

  2. Russia's overkill in Georgia is just a show. Georgia is weak. It cannot even defend its own turf as Russia dominated the air without being harassed. If Russia did that to other ex-USSR country like Ukraine, their jets will be shot down easily with flaks and SAMs.

PS to sl: Russia cannot invade Ukraine and Poland, since they are NATO countries. If they do, the full military might of all NATO countries and USA will be unleashed on them.

  3. Yes, that is why the boarding Country's to Russia (Poland, Ukraine, ect) have gone to Georgia to show that they support Georgia because they realize that they will be next for Russia to destroy.   Russia is flexing its muscles and knows that America can not go in and help these Country's because it would be World War 3.
