The traffic of women and girls as 's*x slaves' has not stopped. All that's happened is the media have focused their attention elsewhere.

Russia is by no means the only source for women, the Albanians, Israeli's and Thai's also have roaring illegal s*x slave trades and Japanese criminal gangs recruit "entertainers" in places such as Japan.  Most follow the same methods of operation however.

Well, I know that the authorities started to fight prostitution in Finnmark (consisting of many russian prostitutes), which has led to a halt in the s*x-trafficking in that area. But I sincerely doubt that the slavery has completely gone away. We can't forget the sufferings some women have to go through only to stay alive and no more!

Absolutely not, I knew a woman that just took a trip to Moldova a couple years ago and was abducted while she was there. Forunately enough, she escaped.

After communism, the masses are poor and the easiest ways to make money is through the black market, which still involves s*x slavery.
