Has Sarah Palin Thrown Her 17 Year Old Daughter Under the Bus?

The whole thing brings to light the abysmal, laughable failure of Palin's abstinence-only stance.

The fact also remains that Palin chose to proceed with her nomination knowing quite well that it would throw her daughter into the spotlight so harshly. It's irresponsible on her part and, I think, selfish.

Oh lord, yes. Why wait until the day after the rumors about Trig to shove your young, unwed, pregnant teen into the spotlight? Sarah Palin must be so proud. Of herself, that is. So the Bush sister's get busted for underage drinking during W's 1st term and the VP nominee's daughter is pregnant. Yeah, Republicans are certainly the role models I'd choose for my kids.

It's sad. I feel bad for that girl. If only her mom had told her what to expect from s*x, maybe she wouldn't be in this situation. I bet you she wanted to get on birth control, but was too afraid to ask her mom to go to the doctor for it because she knows her mom is a strong believer in abstinence only before marriage.
