  1. they're taking odds that he wil dump her by weeks end. If he doesn't it'll be like when Mondale chose Ferraro. her husband had shady real estate dealings and possible mob connections. The DNC wanted her to be dropped. Mondale didn't and lost in a landslide. If he doesn't history will repeat itself.

  2. No, for two reasons, it's got the media talking about him and not Obama and when they question her experience, family, background, etc. it makes people wonder why no one asked Obama about his.  And two, she has energized the base and most importantly got them off of their checkbooks.

  3. Old John is showing great judgment.

His pick was great,....... for the Dems.

  4. I think McCain became McCain's liability when he picked her without really knowing her

  5. Yes it was a liability, if it was a "woman vp" he was after , then there are certainly more qualified women out there than her.  She needs to deal with her family, that should be her number one priority.

  6. He has a post convention bounce and a small one at that.  Less then Kerry had.  No she is not.  Obama has major luggage and why is he still around.  Because he's a man.

  7. If Palin was on the Democratic side, the republicans would make sure she was a liability.  You must remember that their is no liability's on the republican side. Thats just the way it is.

  8. Well, I think it is funny that the debate has turned to whether or not Obama is more experienced than the VP of the Republican ticket.  That debate presupposes the stipulation that McCain is so much more qualified than Obama, that it is not even up for question anymore.

  9. Let's face facts....McCain wanted to have a ticket that was as historically huge as Obama's.  Obama will be the first black president, so McCain needed a woman to even the playing field.  He rushed into this pick just like he will rush into many other important decisions if he is elected. (Which he won't)  I mean choosing a VP is the single most important decision a nominee can make, and he botched this one.  To top it off Palin actually stated in an interview in july that she needed someone to explain exactly what it is that a VP does!!!  Uhhhh...Yeah, let's elect McCain and the FRIGGIN IDIOT!!!

  10. Yes, but Yahoo (Obama's mouthpiece) says they are not a high as previous post conventio bounces.

Wait until the Republican convention is over - they will be tied again.

  11. IDK, but she's the hottest politician on the ticket.

edit: Are you kidding me? I'm voting for Obama, but Gov. Palin is a total MILF.

  12. Yes, she is. I think it's funny to see all of these republicans trying to deny it, and talking about how this woman having a pregnant teen is a GOOD thing. "It shows us she deals with real issues just like us". Pathetic. You all know d**n well you wouldn't want YOUR daughters hanging out with her daughter! Stop following your leaders like sheep! Why you would go back on your beliefs just because they tell you to is beyond me!

    And that's not all!

She is under investigation for abuse of office , she lied about approving the "bridge to nowhere", her own Mother-in-law says he doesn't know if she is qualified, she wants to overturn Roe V Wade, her record as Mayor of Wassilla is horrible, as he ran up 20 million in debt for "civic improvement", she suggested censoring library books. Do you need more?

  13. Only in the democrats world she has scared them to death and the Obama bounce is just pathetic. It should have been 15 to 20 points in fact Obama lead should be so large that he would be a shoo-in and here are his supporters all excited with a 6 to 10 point bounce. Ignorance gone to seed

  14. Just the opposite.  You can be sure that a lot of Democrats will be watching tonight when Sarah Palin gives her speech.  They really don't quite know what to make of her.  They'll find out tonight.

McCain and Palin 2008!  We need you!

  15. Yes and she will continue to be so.  As a woman I absolutely abhor her stance on anti-abortion even when it is the result of rape or incest.  Most women I know can't stand her views.

  16. The soccer mom is a liability

  17. They always do after the convention. Will they stay? We will see.
