Has Scott Hall been underrated as a wrestler?

I don't know if it is really a question of Scott Hall being underrated or overrated as much as it is him never getting his sh*t together.  He always had a tremendous amount of talent, and was thought at one time to be a sure bet as future world championship material.  So as far as talent wise its hard to say he was underrated.  If he has to absolutely be underrated or overrated it would have to be overrated in the sense of how much was he really worth? given his many problems.

Very much Under-Rated, probably one of the best to never hold a World Title.

I wont say he is under rated.... but he did not acheive upto his potential. I mean 30 years in wrestling, with 3 promotions and not even one World championship. Sadly thats wat it is.

yes scott hall is underrated.

if you have any doubt about scott hall's wrestling ability just watch some of his matches in japan or the old awa. he put all gimmicks aside and just wrestled.

In his prime, yes, Scott was the man. Right now, probably asleep after drinking heavily while people still go on about how cool he was? Overrated.

He was under appreciated for his ability, yes. But he has ruined his career by getting flabby getting loaded all the time, showing up late for shows, or not showing up at all. His work ethic (or lack thereof) is probably the only time he wasn't a multiple-time World Champion in WWF, WCW, and TNA.

I think in some ways, yes. I always thought he was main event material and was totally into his Razor Ramon gimmick, but his personal demons I think held him back from being a World champion in the big promotions. Despite that though, he always got a pretty strong upper midcard push.
