There were rumours going around that Woods was going to play, but his caddie poured doubt on them. But has Woods himself denied he's going to play the event?

As you may be aware, Woods is staying quiet at the moment. He has until 10 pm British time to commit to the event, though in all likelihood the golfer will surely stay away. It's thought more likely that Woods will make his comeback at the Tavistock Cup in a couple of weeks, which is a far more low key competition and will allow Woods to return with some semblance of control.
