  5. um 2face

and a bad bloke in under siege 2

  6. Oh heck, yes!

I'll skip the movies of his I haven't seen, even when it's obvious he didn't play a law enforcement agent (such as the 1977 TV movie "The Amazing Howard Hughes", where he played Howard).

Let's start with an oldie but a goodie, "Black Moon Rising".  He played a thief who stole an experimental car in that one.

In the movie "Under Siege", he played a terrorist.  Theoretically one with an ex-military background, but since he didn't have anything to do with it during the movie, I think you can count it as a "non law enforcement" movie.

Speaking of playing terrorists, he played an ex IRA bomber opposite Jeff Bridges in the highly underrated movie "Blown Away".

Of course, he played a baseball player in the movie which won him his Oscar ("Cobb"), and as many people have pointed out, he played Two Face in "Batman Forever".  There's another one that's arguable since Harvey Dent used to be a District Attorney, but again I think you can include it since he wasn't a DA at any point in the film.

After that, you've got the movie "Volcano".  He did work for the city of Los Angeles in that one, but he wasn't in law enforcement.  He was head of their emergency management department.

In "Space Cowboys" he played a retired test-pilot.  Again, military, but in his background, and in any case test pilots really aren't law enforcement.

Finally, he played a sentient toy in the movie "Small Soldiers", and a wanderer in "The Missing".

I'm sure there are more I haven't seen, but I think the essential point here is that yes, he's done so many times.

  7. He was Two-Face in the third Batman movie. Horrible movie, and a horrible role for him. The idiot director had him play Two-Face as if he were the old 60's Caesar Romero Joker ugh! I think he'd make an alright Two Face, but not in that movie.

  8. does the military count as law enforcement?

FireBirds one of my favorite movies of all time.

he plays the main commander of the strike group.

  9. Wasn't he an astronaut in one movie? LOL I forget.

  10. Yes, in one of my favorite movies, Coal Miners Daughter. It is such a great show.

  11. he plays an indian in the missing with cate blanchett.

  12. Check out "The Executioner's Song", he plays convicted murderer Gary Gilmore, the first person executed in 1977 after the reinstatement of the death penalty. Executed by firing squad in Utah. Rosanna Arquette plays his girlfriend who is underaged. Based on the book of the same name by Norman Mailer.

Tommy plays the creep really well....the movie will haunt you....the book will disturb you.
