  1. I like both, but I watch boxing more. UFC has the better quality fighters, meaning it is packed with talent in virtually every division, even though the heavyweight division is kind of thin, its still better than boxing's dismal heavyweight division. With fighters like Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, and Quinton Jackson, I am liking the ufc more after each successive PPV event. I feel like the UFC now is what boxing was in the 50's, 60s, 70s, 80s, and early 90s.

Boxing seems to have a lot of dry divisions. The only really good division is some of the lighter-weight divisions and the light heavyweight division. Cruiserweights are getting better too, however, I feel what hurts boxing the most is not the lack of good fighters, but the lack of good match-ups. We waited years for samuel peter and oleg to fight, we are still waiting on a klitschko-peter rematch, which is not happening anytime soon, and we are still waiting to see miguel cotto and maywether fight, the nate campebell/joel casamayor fight has yet to materialize, joshua clottey still hasn't gotten his rematch with antonio maragarito or his title shot, david haye didn't fight steve cunningham. This is unaccaeptable. In the UFC, all the match-ups make sense and make for exciting television. There is almost no such thing as a "tune-up" fight in the ufc.

Another reason why I like the ufc is because fighters almost never get robbed of a decision, the right fighter almost always wins, whereas in boxing, i feel like too many good fighters get robbed of decisions. Overall, I feel like boxing is better than it has been in the past few years and is still getting better, but I am finding more and more reasons to like the UFC.

  2. no i don think so cause there are lots of boxing superstars and lots of boxing fans all over the world....ufc is also great but its too brutal if u see fighters with bloody face its not good for some viewers.

  3. The only reason why certain boxing divisions are dry is because there are too many nich division. We're talking divisions of six or less pound differences. So the talent pool is diluted.

As far as boxing being boring. I guess if you are a fan of the ground and pound, it would be.

  4. In the USA i would say it has to a degree, but probably not in every country.

  5. Boxing promoters, especially in the HW divison, are getting what they deserve. For so long, they have played politics with the sport, not giving the fans what they want; a unifed champ with title defenses, contenders fighting regularly.

  6. Anyone that thinks boxing is boring hasn't been paying attention.  I'll spare you from listing all the recent exciting fights.

But this pretty much sums it up...
