Or is it because people would rather watch a true competition?

If you say so then what could you do to get people to tune in if you were in charge for ratings?

The dumbest thing that Vince ever did is come up with that Million dallor mania.

  1. I would turn Cena and Batista heel, re-start the Y2J/Cena and Batista/HHH fueds, with HHH back on Raw. I would put the E back in ECW and rehire Sabu, Sandman etc... And reistate Hcore championship.

On Smackdown, which would be the 3rd show behind Raw, and the renewed Extreme ECW, I would have all the up and coming wrestlers, and some more experienced ones

I would bring back Velocity and Heat, which would air before the Smackdown taping and ECW taping (ECW does not tape with another brand b/c they have a 1 and a half hour timeslot)

  2. Last week it was 3.6 now it is 3.0 it is because of the olympics

    bring back the hardcore belt

  3. Who wouldnt watch michael phelps and team usa break world records

  4. Instead of WWE worrying about other Television programs, they should start worrying about their own product. It's all about good quality television, and as for wrestling it's all about having a balance between good wrestling, and innovative storylines.

As cliche as it may sound, the key for WWE is "INNOVATIVE STORYLINES"  It all boils down to that.

Good wrestling, Innovative & Unpredictable storylines is what will make viewers tuned in. BOTTOM LINE!! Just evenly balance those 3 things, and you will see all fans be happy, from the casual fans, to the wrestling purest.

  5. The Olympic is much bigger than the WWE cause its an international event with every sport. Billions have tuned in to watch the Olympic and it may likely affect the WWE ratings.

    WWE>Olympic (MY OPINION)

  6. no becuase wwe r realesing superstars we like

  7. A lot of tv shows decline in the ratings when special events like the Olympics are aired.  However, the WWE has been losing ratings for quite awhile now.  It may be that pro-wrestling simply isn't in fashion right now.  I find that wrestling goes in cycles.  It's either doing great or it's not doing so well.  It wouldn't hurt, however, for Vince et al to improve the product.  My own opinion is they should let the wrestling and the wrestlers take center stage and never mind the boring storylines.  Some of the storylines are all right but most are just plain dull.
