Has a male ever used a sanitary towel?

Yes.  Too staunch major wounds- its rumored to be the original use.  

When I was little my best friend used them on his elbows and knees while trying to learn how to ice skate.  He should also have put some on his head, front and back. Older kids, girls especially laughed but it caught on pretty quickly, much to many families inconvenience.

I'm assuming you mean sanitary napkins?  If so, yes. They were originally invented for use as battlefield bandages...

R U talking about pads???? If so yes. They come in handy if some one has a bad cut and bleeding a lot. I know on guy who had a boil on his leg and used it for a bandage.

Yup. They absorb blood well so you can use it as a bandage ^^

Also, after watching She's The Man I know a few guys in my school who actually use tampons for really bad nose bleeds!
