  1. That was purty shtty of you to post that

  2. Any soup kitchen does. So yes.

  3. Thqat's what missionaries do.  That food ain't so "free".

  4. Regardless if you accepted God or not, they were blessed by God for trying.

  5. I wish they would offer me free food or gifts =[

    You didn't say they made you convert, just share the gospel. I can take some gospel for free food.

  6. only pamphlets and bibles, they don't taste so good :(

    However, my boyfriends mother has been a part of pretty much every religion you can think of.  She had a hysterectomy a few years ago, even though she hadn't been an active member of LDS for years, and was currently christian, they brought the family 3 meals a day for a week.  They were delicious, it was the best the family had ever eaten.

    (She to this day is only religious when it suits her, my boyfriend is atheist, his brother is christian, and the youngest two probably don't even know what the inside of a church looks like, though the 5 year old does thank "Jahoba" before every meal thanks to summers spent with a Jehovah's Witness grandmother)

  7. Know, not to just share the Gospel But to show the love of the teaching

    of Jesus Christ. and to show them what is the fruit of the Spirit is.

    Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. Peace be unto you.

  8. Yes. They even went so far as to have bible verses on the cupcakes.

  9. Nope, but I must say that those Christians are absolutely brilliant. Why are you taking advantage of the Christians who are reaching out to help you receive everything you have ever (and probably never) dreamed of, anyway? It's like turning down a goodstory even though you know something good wil happen at the end. Your choice if you want to make fun of those who tell the truth and just deny them because you think it's funny

  10. no.

    but i once worked for a christian organization running a food pantry that wanted me to offer tracts and preach to those coming for food.  i refused.  it is terrible to pressure someone to listen to preaching of any sort in exchange for something they need to survive.  the powers that be were not happy, but they didn't fire me.  i never preached to any of the clients who came, but many did come to church.  the organization had, in all the years of preaching to clients, never had a client come to church.  the clients who came figured i must be for real because i didn't force my religion on them.  i just met the need they had.

  11. never

  12. Romans 10

    14How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"[g]

    16But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?"[h] 17Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. 18But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did:

       "Their voice has gone out into all the earth,

          their words to the ends of the world."[i] 19Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says,

       "I will make you envious by those who are not a nation;

          I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding."[j] 20And Isaiah boldly says,

       "I was found by those who did not seek me;

          I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me."[k] 21But concerning Israel he says,

       "All day long I have held out my hands

          to a disobedient and obstinate people."[l]

    During my town's festival, a guy I know talked to these crazy Christian people for an hour and said they'd give him 20 bucks if he could prove he was a good person. After keeping him there for an hour when it was like, 108 degrees outside, they finally told him he was too greedy to get the money if he'd stay there that long.

  16. no but i'm sure there are good people who would gladly give food to those who need it, regardless of their religion...

  17. Did you ever think maybe they were just giving you a gift? Maybe they were just reaching out to you in friendship? But you're much too smart for that...
