Has a spirit tried to communicate with you?

I am not asking for advice, but I am asking for EXPERIENCES with communicating with spirits(or ghosts). What were your reactions when they would try communicate? Have you asked the spirit (or ghost) to leave or do you allow it to stay & continue to communicate?

That clip shows an amateur foreign production of an urban legend.  This is not documentary footage.

That being said, how do you know if a spirit is trying to communicate with you?  Either they come out and talk to or else it's up to you to subjectively interpret some random event as having spiritual significance, right?  Well, you can interpret just about anything as a spirit trying to communicate with you if your imagination is fertile enough.

I had two occasions where separate spirit entities suggested things in dreams.

My older brother and I experienced a shared dream of being bitten by mosquitoes hundreds of times on the same night our neighbor died. We both thought we had scratched ourselves bloody turned on the light and didn't have any marks or bites on us at all.

The other was a dream of a shadow man who caused me to chant out in a low drone and angry voice. My wife had seen the spirit in the house floating near the floor, my daughter saw the shadow in the bathroom while she was in the shower. I had seen the shadow lurking about the top of the staircase.

I had a friend that I lost touch with contact me in a dream. In the dream his face was messed up so when I woke up I looked his name up on yahoo & came across his obit & a news story that he died in a car crash.

How could I understand that clip without an interpretor? The only thing I could think was that maybe they didn't find the girl's body. Wish you had told us what it said...will you "add details" and tell us? I took a year of Spanish..but didn't learn much. And a year or two of Latin...still didn't learn much. I think I'm an English only person.

Yes, things have happened to me..but I don't want to talk about them. You can go to "similar questions asked" and find lots of stories..mine might be in there too.

me  and my friend have a few times when we were using a quija board, we always got it to move and we had definite signs of spirts in the room. it was kinda weird and it always stopped after we stopped using the quija board but once it wouldnt let us stop playing

The video is taken to be real as it is said the police had investigated it.  But with out all of the data from the police report there is no way of saying what could be true or not.

Was the hitch hiker found at the wreckage?  

Did the police ask the family if that was video of their daughter from the earlier accident?

What did the police find at the scene that could have caused an accident?

All need to be answered before anyone could say that this was an apparition, and that it caused a repeat of the accident.

My wifes family has a cabin in B.C. Canada that has a ghost of a ship wrecked woman in it.  Everyone who has seen her says she is talking but no one has heard a sounds.  A few psychics have visited at different times, each one has said she is trying to communicate with her children and family.

id have to say that video is not real, because its a copy of an urban legend.....many years ago a guy riding his motorbike in the middle of the night picked up a young girl hitch hiker, and he gave her his jacket to wear...they got to her house and he dropped her off at home and said he,d come back for his jacket....the next day when he went to her house, her mum answered the door and when he asked for her, he was told she had been dead for many years, in a car accident, where he picked her up from....he couldnt believe it and asked her mum where she was buried.... so he went to the cemetery and found her tomb stone with his jacket on it.....

personally ive had many spirits contact me, mostly friends ....one experience i had was in 2001 a real close friend had killed himself but i did not know at the time....i started to experience the most bizzar stuff....first i would be asleep with my partner next to me, and i would wake up, feeling someone sitting on our bed on my side...like really feeling it..id get so worried and put the covers over my head....i just knew someone was there but couldnt see them...after a while when that didnt work.....have you ever heard people saying they could hear tapping on the windows......well while sound asleep we were upstairs and no one could knock on the window....this soft but CONSTANT tapping would start and it would slowly wake us up..but it never stopped...we both kept looking out of the window and the tapping kept going...we couldnt get back to sleep cause of it....for weeks we tryed to work out what the tapping was, specially when its right in front of you, but no one there...and no trees just a bare window looking out into the sky....then i found out he had died, and it all made perfect sense....his wife was crazy, she rang me and i went there straight away....she had tryed to kill him before..when i got there i just got this awful feeling to get out of there and when i climbed down the stairs i saw him, a light glow standing in the bottom room, ....thats just a mild experience ive had....i guess he just wanted me to know he was gone........†

Yes often, I'm a psychic. I seek communication to be able to give guidance to others.

Although when they appear at the end of the bed at night - I think like a human & think burglar lol not spirit!

once, i was watching tv in the evening and a young woman and her child 'appeared' in the living room, sitting in my rocking chair. i was so terrified, i jumped up, planning to run into the streets screaming. even as i rose, i thought, 'but what would i tell the cops? that theres a dead woman and her child in my house?' she put up her hand and i would say 'communicated' the thought 'stay calm. sit down'. i dont recall her actually 'speaking' but somehow, she managed to communicate. her child was a toddler, no more than just walking cause she had on baby booties 'walking shoes', with frilly ancle socks.

i sat down, but felt anxious, and looked at her out of the corner of my eye while pretending to watch tv. the woman appeared to be deep in thought, and rocked her child, who sat on her knee. eventually, i stood up and said, 'oh well, its time for bed'. i went upstairs to bed. i did not see her follow me, yet, as i got into bed, she and the child where on the opposite side of the bed, facing the window. i got into bed and went to sleep. all of a sudden, i woke with a start. do you know the first thought in my mind was ' THE BABY! i hope it's nowhere near the stairs!' (i have a very small landing outside my bedroom and believe it or not, i was concerned that the 'baby' would fall!) instantly, i sensed that the house was quiet and that they where no longer there in my house.

Does this sound like a load of s'hit to you? sure sounds like it to me but this is what happened. dont know how to explain it at all. told my folks the next day and my mom said 'did you tell her to make for the light?' no, i was so scared, i couldnt think to say ANYTHING. its easy enough to say that but when it happens to you, you cant even think straight....

Years ago when I was depressed and slept on the couch I thought my mom would come and massage my head. It was the nicest feeling! I almost didn't feel depressed anymore when I would feel my scalp moving around!

It went on several days before I realized my mom could not be the one doing it. I pretended to be asleep when I'd feel it because I didn't want it to stop.

It was the strangest thing to think about but my hair wasn't making a sound and I could feel that it should be moving. It took me knowing that there was somone on the other side that concerned with me that they would go out of their way to make me feel better to get me out of my depression.

It didn't hurt that the house had been in the family for like 100 years either. It still makes me smile and cry when I think about it! :)

i was 9 years old. i was wearing my blue school uniform and was looking at the mirror when suddenly i saw another me in the mirror, wearing a white school uniform instead. that 'thing' who looked exactly like me stood behind me, smiled and touched my shoulder. when i turned back, there's no one.

i have no idea what it was trying to tell me, but one thing i don't understand until now, why did it look like me???
