have been trying to get a job. no luck so far. i've had 2 employers give me a hard time already. one was last year with a local company. he asked for how much i could lift an an example. so i did, he writes down "can lift" wow thank you for that mr. employer *rolls eyes*. seriously though i was thinking 'that's not what i said.' i applied at a local fast food place. the guy told me to call back in two days. called back as directed and he tells me that there are others more qualified and i'm not worth requesting an interview from. wow! you think you can write me off because i'm missing one thing you want. when i could have all the rest?

  1. hey I've been there,

Things I done to over come this was applied for positions that I thought I would enjoy, made up 45 cvs and sent letters and handed out to local business around where I lived.

    For the position I wanted..

I told my top five picks that I would work for a couple of days for free to see if I like it and the like me... When someone gave me the chance I was always on time and egar to please..

I excepted a job and within the next 6 months I had 4 other job offers from companys I had given my cv 2 at the start.

    Good Luck ..
