  1. Of course they have, every year they protest to try and stop the Grand National on the grounds that it is cruel, they obviously have no experience of riding horses if they did then they would realise that if a horse decides it is not going to jump or race then nothing you do is going to force it too.

  2. yes...if they lose they are very anti it.

  3. c'mon frankie won a few bob 4 me 2day!

  4. Well if they do, they should be put out of their misery and shot, I say.  Like, just say coos were turned in to domestic animals, would all those animal rights a******s (don't get me wrong I passionately love animals, especially the one next to me now!! } get up and pull their titttts to get rid of the pain.  Bet you they wouldn't move one assres   They haven't got all the ramifications of the sport worked out yet.  Twwatts.

  5. Don't know... why don't you check out PETA's  site?

  6. Some of them have very strong views and would love to have racing stopped altogether.  Now that they have managed to get fox hunting banned (to a certain extent) they plan on targetting shooting and fishing, shortly to be followed by racing.

I've seen some of the tripe they write on their websites, and I have never read so much rubbish in my life.  Obviously none of them have ever had anything to do with the racing industry and I would suggest they actually go round some racing yards and studs before making the kind of allegations they make.

I am a great animal lover and cannot abide cruelty, but I can honestly say that in the 7 or so years I have worked in racing, I have never seen anything that could be referred to as cruelty to the horses.  If only the staff were treated as well as the horses!

  7. they have plenty, but they are misinformed, biased and pathetic.usually it is driven by jealousy and they cannot see farther than the nose on there face.i could write a book on the t.wats but i have better things to do with my time.

  8. That is a good question...SteveD......!!!!

I used to live next to a mink farm. The bar stewards got in there and released the stock causing havoc with the wildlife.

Unfortunately they are generally intelligent, well meaning people, but clearly do not play chess as they never seem to think through the actual consequences of their actions.

The Holy Bible (and probably the Holy Koran) says that animals shall be in subjection to man.

Hunting, fishing, racing is all a variation on animal husbandry and the gathering of food.

Like any minority group a little goes a long way. Think of the consequences of just two well known things.

    1. El quieda (or however it is spelt) and anti globalisation.

    2. Emily Pankhurst and the suffragettes.

Grand National fences already "dumbed Down"....just like education.

Oh to be able to turn the clock back!!!

  9. Stop breeding so many c**p horses..Then we can watch group ones all the time..
