  1. No, but I would love to.

  2. ,

cheap way to travel, i did it for almost ten years, doing six months at a time, great way to travel and meet people while getting paid to do it, there are no days off and you can really miss your family and friends, the hours are sometimes long i was a bartender so the money was not bad and it was all tax free, all in all  i will definitely recommend it,besides where else can you get an imported for 65 cents that alone will make it worth it................that is the crew price.

  3. It's alot of fun, you save alot of money because your always working, you have to keep a thin line between the passengers and yourself, at the same time providing the best in customer service.  I worked for the entertainment department , it was a blast!!!!

  4. I worked on Cruise ships for 12 years it depends on what job you are doing as to whether you can socialise after work with passengers. If you are allowed to socialise with passengers it has to be in public lounges in uniform with your name badge visible. You  need to budget well as you get paid monthly. Most people share cabins so you need to  be tolerant of others and their nocturnal habits/friends. Take easy care clothes and comfortable work shoes.

If you need any medication take it with you enough for your entire time on board. Even if you cant fraternise with passengers there are Crew Bars. You dont need too many casual clothes as you will be wearing a uniform a lots of the time. Toiletries tend to be expensive on board and in the ports so take a good supply with you.

  5. I haven't but my understanding is that there are long hours, 7days a week and very low wages. There is a book about it called Cruise Ship Blues. You could probably find it fairly cheap on half.com or eBay.
