  1. a valiant and a charger are two different cars ,totally different from each other, but yes the chargers came with 440,s in them and there's a valiant with a 440 in it that races at the local drag strip every year where i live at,it can be done, its a lot of work though, your kind of talking about two different cars here, but the 440 has been fitted in to a bunch of cars that it shouldn't be put in,you just about half to cut valiant up real bad though to put a big block engine in it,good luck.

  2. First off, Charger is a Dodge. Second, Valiant is a plymouth. Third, a 440 is considered a big block, not a small block. As far as body work, start off by removing the fender liners, and prepare to spend a lot of money on modifications.

  3. Who, What, a Vailant is not a Charger, and a 440 is not a small block ?  You sure you have a Charger and a 440!

  4. u r looking at very, very, serious $'s & work!  i once put a hemi in a '66 dart. never again!   u must be able to reinforce greatly the front end & tie the uni-body frame togather or u will twist it in 1/2. this info is 4 putting a big block in a dart, valiant,or small body chrysler.

  5. Is this the Austrailian Valiant Charger.  Yes, people they were called that down under.  They had strange little 6 cylinder "hemi" engines also.  So don't laugh at him on that.  Now, a small block 440? That is something I have never heard of.  I would need to know what motor is in it now, etc. to begin to answer.  Let me know?
