  1. Family of 5, limited budget for 16 years.  Got lots, but depends on how limited your budget.  Let me know what guidelines you have (food preferences, money, number of people needing fed) and I'll see if I can think of some good ones for you.

Also, the state your located or the names of discount food stores in your area might help too.

  2. get a fryer chicken , usually really cheap and fatty. Boil the chicken ina big pot. save the stocka nd take out the chicken. Skin and debone and return meat to the pot. add a few bags of your favorite veggies and boil. When it is close to time to eat add some cut up potatoes. This can feed a family for several days. Just add more vegies and water and potatoes as needed. A ten pound bag of potatoes goes a long way.

  3. half a packet of macaroni , a tin of tuna ( get the one in spring water if it cost the same that way you don't need to drain it ) lots of vegies ( whatever is cheapest - be sure to include onion/garlic and some grated carrot/pumpkin , tin of tomatoes and tin of evaporated milk . tastes great btw. if you really want to spread it add a sachet of french onion soup mix and more macaroni/vegies .

cook it till the macaroni is soft ( either as a casserole or on stove top .

boil up a bunch of sausages and vegies ( spinach is especially nice ) and onion/garlic , a tin of tomatoes and a tin of evaporated milk , add ur  choice of curry powder , if desired . serve with rice , or boiled potatoes , or mashed potatoes , or even pasta .

baked beans on brown bread is actually a pretty well balanced meal ( more sound than fast food by a mile ).

i am quite into food , email me if you want - i can even try to figure out more specific quantities if you like ( i live in australia our measurements are a bit different )

  4. What kind of reciepe you need.If you can be more specific we can help you out.

  5. I find that if I purchase a large can of Campbells Vegetable soup, I can add extra to it and create enough soup to feed our family for a couple of days.  I usually add cooked macaroni noodles, leftover beef, roast, chicken, or turkey (whatever I happen to have) and another can of tomato soup and water.  The two cans of soup, the leftovers, and the macaroni usually come to a total of around $3.00.  It even tastes better when heated up the next day.
