  1. This game should be played close to the end of the party.

You will need, around ten corks, burnt at one end creating a charcoal effect.

Everybody sits in a circle (or something as near as you can get with forty people) and you begin with one person looking at the person sat next to them and they say " hello Harry, I'm Harry, how's Harry?"

Then that person turns to the next person, says the same, and so on.

Now if anybody makes a slight verbal mistake they get the cork, at the burnt end, rubbed on their face.  This makes a black mark on their face and they become Harry one-spot, so the person looking at them Will now have to say "Hello harry one-spot, I'm Harry, How's Harry?"  The more spots, the more Harry spots you'll become.

Do you get where i am going with this??

When you have as many people as you have mistakes will be made and laughter will be had!

    Have a super time

  2. The senile dementia general knowledge quiz game goes down well

  3. How about a quiz. Organising tables into teams of 8.

You could have Music  , Films and TV..,  Home and Garden , Sport and spread the questions across the generations so everyone gets involved. Always have at least 2 or 3 difficult questions in each round to sort the men from the boys.

Play jokers to double points and have prizes for the best and the boobies.

  4. Look at this site for some ideas.

    http://www.partycentral.com

They have games for all age groups.

  5. How about guess whos gonna die next? I played it at my aunts 75th and i was right it was her, i won a bottle of champers!

  6. Robbie B's answer about the senile dementia quiz is good, but I can't remember where I played it, or whether I won.

Was it at my 60th b'day party, yesterday, Mildred?

  7. WATER BALLOON FIGHT.

  8. musical chairs

  9. A few rounds of Bingo is always good for any age. I wouldn't do more than 5 or 6 - 10 at the most....younger kids get antsy.

Wal-Mart has pads of paper bingo cards....give each guest a page for each game.  Some inexpensive gifts.  You could play every other game for the kids and a prize accordingly.

    Some games like the carnivals have.....ducks in a pond....ring toss.....bust balloons....etc.

  10. Musical Wheelchairs ?

Raffle .. Guess the date of death ?

What OAP can hold their bladder for the lognest ?

Remeber what happened yesterday ?= a good game !

    Read the Will ?

    Hope theese help you :-)

  11. How about pass the balloon this can be done though the knees or by passing it from neck to neck NO hands allowed it always generates a laugh and is good for all ages. you could use long shape balloons as well as round and split people in to two lines and the line the gets it from one end to the other first is the winner.

You could also do the same with cut down straws and polo mints. people hold the straws in their mouths and have to tip the polo on to the next persons straw, although this can give you a bit of a neck ache.

Also how about apple bobbing :O)

    Good Luck x x x

  12. dodge the coffin

  13. ROFL at pdc123's answer....Too FUNNY: ]

  14. its my party and i'll cry if i want too

  15. Our whole family plays this every Christmas with ages from 5 - 87! Game is called Squeak Piggy Squeak! You only need a blindfold and a cushion. You all have to get in a circle and one person stands in the middle with a blindfold on. The person in the middle turns around several times while everyone changes places around the circle. The middle person then wanders to the edge of the circle, finds a lap and sits on it and shouts, "Squeak Piggy Squeak!" If they can control their laughter the person squeaks and then the blindfolded person has to guess who it is. If they're right, the person they're sitting on is it. Good luck!

  16. how about  the old fashioned game musical chairs except all the men go down on one knee in a line facing opposite each other, and the women play musical chairs but have to sit on the mans knee. and then take away a man at a time . use to play this it good fun , hope you can understand these instructions.
