Has any bride shown their groom their dress before the big day, if so did you get bad luck?

Just a curious wonder, nothing more ;-)

Personally I want to see his face when he sees me in the dress for the first time. Thats why he isnt allowed to see it. But I was curious if anyone revealed their dress to their groom beofre the day? and if so did you get bad luck?

I think that is just superstition and depends if you feel that is going to be a bad luck forever, or it won´t affect your future marriage. Your mind rules, so follow your feelings about this.

Oh nooooooo, you don't want to be doing that.  Also, you must not see each other at all the night before the wedding..  I know these things work because my marriage has lasted over 40 years and still going strong, and we did those daft things too lol

Actually I don't think it makes even the slightest difference, but we all do it.  Superstition is all it is.

My first husband never saw my dress and our marriage lasted 12 years. My 2nd husband didn't even know what the colour scheme for the wedding was never mind my dress! We have only been married 3 months...watch this space.....lol
