  1. Yep, have grown capsicums from just their seeds inside and tomatoes the same way, and chokoes too, also an avocado tree (but it didnt make it cause the dog weed on it) and have another 3 mango trees in the yard growing from the seeds, no I didnt plant them they just fell and grew all by themselves, clever little blitters lol! :)

  2. Yes indeed!  They are very slow growing, but they will grow.  It will take several years before you get any fruit from them.

  3. Yes, we had a peach tree for many years, ( I think its still there) produced from the pip. The pip must be properly dried before planting.

  4. Absolutely!

  5. There is no reason why not.

    Experiment and find out.

Not sure how you'd do it but maybe place the stone just below the surface of potting compost, keep warm and moist and see if anything happens.

(By the way avacado trees have both male and female plants so you will never get fruit unless you have both and the male pollinates the female, but yes it does take years before they are mature enough.

  6. yes but it never grew?have not tried the cherry tree have you?

  7. I haven't done any of the above, however, I have successfully grown an avocado plant from its stone.  I got three toothpicks and stuck them into the side of the stone, then with the pointed side face down I placed the stone in a glass of water and rested the toothpicks on the side of the glass.  I had to keep changing the water, and it did take weeks and weeks and I almost gave up but eventually a root grew out of the bottom and then I planted the stone into a pot and a plant grew which will eventually turn into a tree - although I won't get any avocado fruit for about 11 years!  Maybe your peach/apricot stones would work on the same principal - and you may get fruit a lot quicker than I will!!!!
