What a huge variety in destinations!  I haven't been to NSW (only WA), but I have been to Trondheim.  What do you want to know about it?

The cathedral is quite impressive, especially given that the stonework is not particularly common in Norway, where the wooden stave churches are more characteristic.  I've heard that the organ recitals at the cathedral are quite good.

There's a pleasant waterfront view from the Gamle Bybro bridge.  The wooden warehouses are bright and colorful, and the canal-style view is quite pretty, though not as picturesque as the more famous Bryggen waterfront in Bergen.

The Sverresborg Trøndelag Folk Museum is interesting, though I think the similar museum in Oslo is much better.  Sverresborg doesn't have a lot of English translations, but the guided tour was very good.  And the view is great on a sunny day!

The Ringve Museum is also supposed to be quite interesting, and the Trønders I know say good things about the botanical gardens there.
