  1. my fave cricketer is DE VILLERS and no i havent read his (i don't think he as one)

but i have read Flintoff's (and he's one of the players i respect a lot)

  2. I have read the autobiography of my favourite cricketer, Michael Atherton. It is a fantastic read, gives real insights into his life as a cricketer, and furthermore, he actually wrote it himself.

Many autobiographies are actually "ghost written" by journalists. Often they are used to settle old scores. Atherton's is a frank appraisal of his cricketing career, and includes the good, the bad, and the ugly.

  3. aww....now i cant give u dat !!! ....chal i'll think of sth else ...nyways i haven't since i don't have any cricketers ////i h8 cricket ....but i have read apj kalam's biography ....nd my mum's read her fav cricketer's auto/biography ....sunil gavaskar's that is ....infact she was ahuge fan ...she collected all dese articles bout 'im !!!

  4. Yes, I've read the biography of my favourite cricketer, which is obviously that Sourav dada. I know all about him-his life, early career, his passion for soccer, the way he fought to get into the team for the 1st time, his glorious debut (which coincides with that of Dravid), his achievements, and setbacks, the era of his leadership, and finally, his battle with fate, and the consequent comeback which seemed impossible at one point of time, after being axed during the Greg Chapell regime.

Hope Dada writes an autobiography some day as well. I would definitely read it. His life is like an epic story.

It would be very nice of your brother if he gifts you a biography of Rahul Dravid. Afterall, what can appeal to a Dravid fan more than the biography of her hero? Dravid's life is like a quest to attain perfection-Surely you will enjoy it

  5. well, i actually have several cricekters biographies, Currently i am reading Michael Slaters, and i just finished Chappelli: Ian Chappells life story, both are quite good reads, i also have Sir Garfield Sobers Biography, tho i have not yet got to read it

lets see, i've read Greg Chappells book, quite boring really, Alan Border has 2 biographies written on him, i have both and are both worth reading, i have a couple of Dennis Lillee's as well, very good reads, David Boons under the southern cross, very good book, as is Merv Hughes Merv: the full story

who else, i've got Dean Jones' My call, not such a good read, kinda arrgogant, but from deano you come to expect that, the same with Greg Matthews' book, i wouldnt recommend that one either, Mark Waugh's book is quite boring as well, Mark Taylors time to declare was also a very good book, as was Viv Richards hitting accross the line, i also have a couple of books on Kapil Dev, while they are interesting, they dont tell you all that much cos they are quite short books

so basically, yeah, i have read the bios of quite alot of my favourite cricketers lol
