Has any of your teachers changed your life negatively?

Majority of teachers influence students positively, inspire them. But there are some who turn your life a living h**l. I myself experienced racism the first time ever in my life by a teacher. Have you ever hated school because of a teacher?

Oh yeah we had a teacher that made all our life h**l she was devoutly religious and used to tell us we were sinners and all kinds of madness... Well one day some kid just snapped and the whole class just tormented her she lost it I mean lost it.. She basically retired that day.. Never came back.

I thought it was funny at first but by the end she was a jibbering wreck I remember seeing her crying and shaking and feeling really sorry for her.. She'd done it too so many of us but somehow in the end no one seemed to get ay joy from our triumph over her.. Just a stunned silence and her huddled in the corner crying.

Yeah, Mrs. Ibezim. Everyone that went to my middle school had her for 6th and 8th grade physical science and up until then, everyone talked about how they dreaded being in her class. Just to give you a description, she was big and black, had long curved fingernails, extentions, purple lipstick, purple-shaded glasses, two Bibles on her desk, hid her diamond jewelry in a box tucked inside of her bra between her big b***s, smelled like Este Lauder's Youthdew (nasty), and when she got pissed off for someone polluting her room (farting), she would stand up and screech her wooden chair backwards until it made this hair-raising SCCREEEEECHH!!!!!

She never once taught us anything about physical science. I suffered for it when I got to high school and college. She use to kiss the boys on the cheeks, "Come here baby, give me a kiss...." and she cried every time she mentioned her dead grandmother.

I jumped on a package of ketchup and it squirted all over her legs. I didn't mean to (squirt it on her). She made sure that everyone in that lunchroom new that it was me who did it. I had to wipe it off of her pantyhose and I could see the long, black leg hairs winding underneath.

My sister audio-recorded her in class one day to prove that she did nothing but talk about NOTHING and Jesus. Oh yeah... and her grandmother. And her ex-Nigerian-husband. My sister was eventually caught and Mrs. Ibezim had her out in the hallway against the wall crying for so long and so hard that she was hyperventilating.

So, if there is any teacher to hate, it would be her.

Yes alot of the teachers in my Jr High and High School did that to alot of students.

The math teach in Jr high would hit the guys upside the head and make everyone feel stupid if they got the questions wrong.

Another teach in high school she was so depressed and everything that she hated her job but yet still teached

Then there was Mrs Baker... she wasn't a teach but the counsellor but she would tell every students business to everyone then that student would be embarrassed and picked on

Then there was Mrs. Banker.. she was just so annoying she thought everything everyone did was wrong... and you couldn't wear perfume cuz it supposedly made her sick.. she was a hypochondriac

Mrs WestJohn was a *****! She made you feel stupid if you couldn't define what she was asking... she would call you stupid in front of everyone... she pissed me off so bad i just skipped her class..

believe me in my school if we weren't having S****y teachers we were having students and teachers having s*x or the principle getting caught having s*x with one of the married teachers

Yes I have!!!!!!My math teacher is the reason I hate going to school.He doesn't help us, and he yells at kids who fail.I am failing, because I have no motivation.He specifically picks on me, and embarasses me if I dont turn something in.He didn't allow me to go to the final school assembly because I had a high F.But then again, the rest of my teachers are great!I have never liked school, though, I have had some bad experiences

Thought the old man was wrong in putting one up in the wrong school.

All along he was right in raising one up in time.

You need to document every instance of when this has happened:

how it came about, exactly what was said, who was present.

If he/she is being racist to you, chances are he/she is doing it to others too.

Get them fired! racism is a sackable offense, especially for someone in that line of work.

Yeah! That happened in Middle school. In an English test I used a correction fluid to cover my wrong answer. As I was short of time to wait for the fluid to dry, I simply wrote my correct answer under the line, leaving a big space on the line. My teacher didn't find my right answer and gave me a big cross. That's OK for me. But after I went for her and told her that I got the question right, she stared at me suspiciously like I was a THIEF. She asserted that I cheated her and put the right answer after the exam. That really HURT me and was more than I could bear. Up till now I still remembered it and sometimes I would think twice even before I tell a simple TRUTH!

Only one. It was a small school, and I had her for my second, third and fourth years which ruined a good chunk of my childhood. I still,over 30 years later,have a hard job thinking of that woman with any sort good will.

h**l yeah this one teacher kept sending me to in school suspension day after day and then one day i told her to F*ck off and she reported me and i got a 262$ ticket!! i hate her

when i was at school we had a head teacher who was one of the worst bullies i have ever seen

she did little in the way of actual teaching other than parading around during assembly times spouting off her 'wisdom'

i am now middle aged and have never to this day met anyone who is so universally detested by everyone - parents, teachers, pupils, non teaching staff, etc

rumour had it that she was finally sacked for embezzling the school funds - the years of bullying didn't count apparently?

and under her nose there were many incidents of teachers behaving inappropriately with pupils too  in the shadow of all that - the damage of the atmosphere she bought with her is incalculable.

Yes, that year was the only year I did not make honor roll. That should say something. Nothing I ever did in that lady's class was good enough. She even downed my parents for being "new to the area." Her way of saying we didn't fit.

I now am a teacher and have based many things on how to not be like Ms. Scott.

I've even looked her up to email her several achievements, such as my GPA from my Masters and PhD-either she never got the email or was too disguisted to reply.

yes. I hate swimmimg because of mrs mitchell.

this has a negative affect on me as I am trying to loose weight, I work out 4 times a week for 1.5 to 3 hours a time, but I cantr go swimming, it just leaves me feeling really horrible, it reminds me of being bullied by a swimming teacher when I was 6.
