  1. Interesting question

The State lied on my birth certificate - apparently I was 'born' to my adoptive parents!

  2. NO,  use your own birth certificate.  I imagine it would be a long list of charges.....  fraud, impersonation,  falsifying a document..... why are you asking this question?  Are you a terrorist?

  3. lol..... i needed that..... what's wrong with someone bringing humor to this forum??? LOVE IT!

  4. I have worked in the child support field since 1991.  I can't begin to tell you how many birth certificates, paternity affidavits, and divorce decree's had "lies" in them.  It is very common and I have yet to see anyone ever called on it.

  5. wow, prosecution, i never even thought of that. i dont believe anyone has ever had charges brought against them for this. but in theory i suppose they could. it is a legal and binding document. not just personal but on a federal level. kind of like lying on a tax form. boy they would catch that though wouldnt they?

i think most of it stems from privacy laws, and in turn many dont push the issue because of the invasion on the birthparents. the courts probably assume since a relinquishment has been issued then the other info isnt pertinent. as long as the adoption is filed properly.

this is a great question. you have me wondering now.

you 'terrorists' can really make a point! LOL! that was great, i love that. it was an honest answer though. just not useful in this forum.
