Has any one been in Ft.Sill Oklahoma for BCT

Question

well i recently join in the Army "MOS 92A Automated Logistical Specialist" i'm going to FT.Sill for bct on august 19 and i will like to know how bct is over there, and how the weather is going to be.

  Yipee!!!! My son is there right now.This is what he says;

  Weather is hot but bearable

  Food is good but not great..but there is alot of it.

  In Processing took a long time.."hurry up and wait"

  He had to wait several hours to get picked up in Oaklahoma  City.They have several  planes come in with candidates through out the day  but the  only sent transportation  to pick them up 1 time a day

  He wants lots of mail from home but NO packages!! He wanted     stamps and pictures

  There are 55 guys in his Barracks and it is Air Conditioned!!

  Only 8  showers so he trys to get up earlier!!

  He said the mental part was the hardest.The physical not too bad

PS Tell you mom it will take at least 1 week before you will have an address to give her.You will be able to call home the day you get there or the next depending on the time.
