Has any one been to goa and stayed at 'williams inn' or 'la petite guest house '?

these guest houses are cheap and cheerfull set at bogmallo beach village.goa, we are sick of paying the hotels prices. these rooms are owned by a man called kevin who owns jewel palace there, if you have stayed there what are they like are they clean and safe? thanx
