Yes ,ok if you are of the older generation not a lot to do there and you can drive around it in an hour,quite pretty in parts

Yes, it is lovely in summer, the beaches are very child friendly, but not much else to do there.

Yes in my child hood and just this year.  Very lovely place and a little bit of a time warp.  I saw Red Squirrels in a park at shanklin this year.  It was lovely.  I spent 4 nights in a hotel on Shanklin sea front on the upper cliff.  Our room over looked the sea and we had a balcony.  It was the end of October and very warm still, warm enough to have the french doors open, and in the morning the sun rose right in the middle of the balcony and we sat in bed with the first sun, doors wide open sipping tea.

Many times over the years! Shanklin, Ventnor and Sandown are the most popluar resorts, but driving around you will find loads of quaint villages, places to see, and things to do.

Shanklin and Sandown both have good, clean sandy beaches, Ventnors beach, on the other hand is red shale, and isn't particularly pleasant. But all in all, for a small island, there is plenty to see and do, right around the coast,and inland too; i.e; Shanklin, Sandown, Brighstone, Bonchurch, Godshill, Ventnor, Alum Bay, Blackgang Chine, Cowes, Yarmouth, Ryde, and many more, I'm sure you should be able to find a website with plenty of information!
