  1. bit late asking now youve booked

  2. I stayed there for a few nights, that wasn't my original plan. Anyway, you couldn't ask for a better location. The people are very nice and the food is exellent, specially the breakfasts..a happy feel about the place, positive atmosphere. Clean, comfortable.

Downside, a busy and very noisy dual carriageway at the front. Unless you have a genius plan to help you sleep like a baby, you just have to accept the wushing sound.

I'd say on whole its a good 3* hotel. In future I'll keep to 5* but I wouldn't hesitate to reccommend this hotel to you or anybody else as the majority of the time I spent in the hotel

    was fantastic.

  3. Hello there.

Well done you on chosing The Riviera in Benalmadena. You can congratulate yourself on making an excellent choice for your next holiday.

The Rivieras location is brilliant. It has a lift straight down to the promenade. the bedrooms are fine- I think I'm right in saying that it was refurbished fairly recently.

One consistently good thing about the hotel is it's food. The chef has been there for years and the hotel is renowned for it's excellent food.

The gardens and grounds of the hotel are also well kept and the pool is lovely, if perhaps a little tired.

I stayed there a couple of years ago myself, and I loved it, but I have also sold it to many happy clients over the years

before I retired from having my own travel agency last year.

One thing I would say is that If I remember correctly, it has been advertised as an "exclusive to adults" property and I can confirm that this is not the case. Although the particular tour operator concerned may not sell  it to families with children, other operators do- You should be aware of this fact.

I would however say that it's not really a family orientated hotel so there won't be scores of kids- hopefully :-)

If I am being perfectly honest, I would say that it is sadly not the best 4 star hotel in the area, however it is a very decent place to stay if you get the right deal at the right price.

If you go expecting absolute luxury then I'm afraid you will be dissapointed, that said however- go in confidence expecting a good three star plus and you'll be ok.

I am sure you'll have a lovely time- all the very best of luck- enjoy your holiday!

  4. I have and it was allright.......Few years ago now though. Great pool, decent night life in a little square.

  5. Hi from France ♫

  6. Here's 3 reviews I found for you, and there's even a video of the hotel for you to look at.
