If you mean the UK NHS one, it's OK, they take a few details then put you through to an advisor. It's free and they don't keep you waiting around. I've rung it a couple of times, both times got a friendly Scottish guy to talk to (no idea if it was the same person).

They'll tell you what options there are for getting patches etc and send you info on groups in your area.

In the end I just went into my local chemist, they offer the quit service too so I did it all there.

I'm not sure which no. you are referring to....if its the My turn to quit no.   I did... I got the prescription....I quit and I have not had a cigarette in 2 years. and I had smoked for 30 years.

The 1 i tried was an add for prescription pills! they sent me info on them!!

no but once when i couldnt get any drugs i talked to frank and he gave me the number to his local dealer which was nice LOL

I stopped smoking 60 f**s a day when my doctor said it would kill me. That was over 40 years ago. I reckon he either saved my life or saved me a fortune.

I don't smoke!

But if I did and wanted to stop, I would try other means before...

If nothing else worked, I'd give it a try.
