I know about the Danish cyclist in 1960 but that was as a direct result of taking amphetamines.

there was a Australian Olympic diver but it wasnt at the olympics. he quit after all of the head injuries...he kept hitting his head on the spring board and then he died after that

A Danish cyclist apparently fell from his bike and later died in 1960.

The only ones I could thing of was the Munich athletes killed, but they weren't competing...
