Has any one ever done a detox?

i am 19 i want to do one to improve my health and maybe loose a little weight along the way.

what kind? how? how much? where?

please help me get started!

  1. I've tried juice fasts in the past and they really work for me. Some do these every month (to much for me), every 6 months or once a year.

    Take a fiber supplement throughout.

    Start with 2 days of raw fruits and veggies only (lemon juice and olive oil can be used for dressing but best to go without)

    Try eating a whole melon for lunch one day with no other foods an hour before or an hour after. Melons are best eaten alone and are great for cleaning you out.

    3 days raw juices made from scratch at home. Veggie juices are best for losing weight as fruit has more sugar.

    2 more days raw fruits and veggies.

    You may get a bad headache the first few days if your body is toxic. After that wanes you will feel great!!

    You may pass some really hard stool as well...it cleans you out pretty good.

    Now your finished but remember to continue eating healthy after the juice fast. I believe Vegetarian diets are the most healthy and best for losing weight in a healthy manner.


  2. Detox is not real. If you can locate and identify the 'toxins' you are trying to get rid of, let me know. It's called your endocrine system and it works wonders...

    If you want to lose weight and just be healthier, eat vegetables and protein rich foods like eggs. Also, just do simple aerobic exercise. I recommend Tae Bo. It is amazing!

    You dont have to do these made up Hollywood remedies to stay in shape and be healthy.
