i haven't but my cousin did when he was 4. it was a green shadow of my great grandma that passed away the day before, and she was wearing the same green cloak when she died.

right after my daughter was born she was in my and my (ex) husbands bedroom..I awoke to a lady that was standing at the foot of my daughters cradle...she didn't speak and she just stood there staring at my daughter and then she literally just vanished..I asked my (ex)husband about her..I described her to him and he had no idea who she was..she wasn't familiar to me either..the only other thing I could come up with was she was a ghost/spirit left over from the family before us who ha the house..I lived there for 4 more years and never saw her again...

ive seen one, and its true, where i live there was a farm in 1956, my house was built on top of a well in 1964, my mum was born there and has lived there all her life however we are moving next week lol but before my house was built over the well my grandmas (who lived on teh farm with her little sister and er parents) little sister fell down the well and drowned, i only found out this story a couple mothns ago, but a couple months ago i hard a girl crying,  was babysitting my sister who is 2 i though it was her so i went upstairs to check on ehr howver the crying became faint as i reached her room, and when igot to her she was asleep so i went downstairs and i could hear crying, i saw a little irl just like the girl who was my grandmas sister in the pics she had shown me the girl was crying in the hall way,  i ran upstairs into my sister room and called my mum she came home straihgt away and when i told my grandma she told me the storyr..so yeahh ghosts are real..

My sister did when she was little. When we moved into the house we live in now, which is almost 100 years old and is a farmhouse, she was sitting at the bottom the the stair talking. My mom asked her who she was talking to and she responded "this lil boy". Of course no one was there. Ever since we moved here we all see starnge things sometimes that seem unreal. Like you will see someone out of the corner of your eye walk by you, things get moved or lost when you know you put them in a specific place or you hear weird noises.

Oh and when my son was first born he had a little bouncy seat he always use to sit in and sleep in. My mom was babysitting him one night and called me hysterically because she had gone in the kitchen a second and was walking back to the livingroom (you have to walk through the dining room or other living room to get there) through the dining room his chair was bouncing on its own, like really bouncing hard and he was fast asleep. Then it was like whoever was doing it noticed she was there and it stopped immediatly.

When he got bigger we had another experience where my mom was holding him while sitting in a chair in the living room. The chair is in a corner and my son kept staring over her right shoulder, not quite at the wall, it was like he was looking at someone. Since my mom was already freaked out about the bouncy seat she was like omg what if its the ghost. So my brother was like yeah lets see what he does ... and waved his had in the area my son had been looking. My son kept looking for a second and then all of a sudden turned his head and started staring over my moms other shoulder. Not like he lost interest but like whatever he was looking at moved and he found it again.

Weve decided that our house must be haunted but we dont have a probelm with them as long as they dont cause problems with us. Ive been in houses where I dont want to stay because you can just feel a negetive vibe but our house is pretty chill. We figure if anyone wanted to hurt us they would have done it already. Id say overall its a littlke strange but nothing to be concernicus about.

I have not seen one but I am sure I have heard one.  Me and a colleague where working in a large house.  We where on the top landing when we heard a small girl laughing and playing, we quickly ran downstairs to see who was there but the house was empty. We stood quiet for a while to listen for someone moving but there was no-one else in the house at all.

My brother and I (both adults) were having dinner at his house, in the living room.  This thick white cloudy smoke thing rose up beside him.  It was so white and thick.  I shat myself and ran out and left him with it.  He slept with all the lights on that night.

Ghosts simply do not exist.

Ghosts are figments of the imaginations of people who choose not to accept that death is final.  When you die, you simply rot in the ground.  There is no afterlife or "spirit" that continues.  These superstitions were invented by our primitive ancestors and have become the socially acceptable fairy-tales for adults to believe in.

There's no need to fear mortality, or make up complex stories and beliefs surrounding what "comes after it".  The total expiration of life is a natural process.  Why else do we have reproduction?  Because life dies and reproduction is the only way to continue it.

Quite a few members of my family have seen ghosts/spirits and have had some kind of connection with a ghost before.

My house did have a ghost in it, a little girl, but then we got the house blessed.

My mum, older sister and younger sister all saw this girl.

My younger sister saw her in one of the bedrooms, sitting in the corner humming that song played when the bride walks down the aisle at the wedding. She said she looked completely black like a shadow. My older sister saw her in the same room at the end of the bed and she was brushing her hair.

Noone has seen any ghosts for quite a while now though.

Yes.. funny experience honestly.

I was working at the Hotel Conneaut, and the first season there everyone was telling me that the place was haunted by a woman named Elizabeth. Back then i was skeptical, thought they were all having a laugh. The second season i worked there i did see her. I could smell jasmine in the hall way and i saw the outline of a lady walk by me.. looked like a cloud kinda, saw her look straight at me, then walk through a wall....I asked the other person there... diiiidddd yuuuuu seeeee that???? and of course she was looking the other way when it happend but it didn't really freak me out, i was just stunned that they were not all pulling my leg after all.

i woke up 1 mornign and went through a dark room to get to the TV, i then saw a shape move in front of me, it waz blurred like spots u see after being in a bright light. and it waz coming towards me. i ran back into another room and didnt see it again. then another day i heard a rocking chair from the next room (there wznt 1 in there obviously) it waz creeking back and forth. i looked but there waz nothing there.

i learnt later that an old lady had died alone in that house

I really don't care what anyone says.  I know what I know because I really saw my Grandfathers ghost about 5 days after he passed away.  Not only did I see him clear as day standing if front of me, but I could feel a burst of cold air as he went by me.  After witnessing this, it has changed my aspect of living and dying totally.

I don't know if what I saw was a ghost, but certainly was fighting.

It was around midnight and I was at my garage playing with firecrackers (thought it was earlier than midnight, that's why I was doing that). There I was, all happy throwing those little firecrackers through the gate to the streets, and behind me I heard my mom voice saying:

- Hey, come inside right..... Holy! What is that thing?!?!?!?!?!

- What?! - I replied.

Then my brother who was inside heard and came in the garage to see.

In front of my house there was a miniature mountain, and on top of it and sliding down there was a weird looking thing which I hadn't noticed at all. It was a creature with a round head and a white sting on its forehead, its black eyes was gazing on mine, it appeared to have only 2 limbs, and seemed like moving was hard for it, the creature overall was smaller than a human being and the head was big.

We all ran inside the house with an intense fear and utmost feeling to hide. So, we went into the bedroom where my dad was sleeping and we all slept in the same bed locked inside the room. My dad did wake, but he didn't quite believe us.

We thought about telling the story to the papers or something, but we would be labeled as crazy, so we gave up and rarely speak of it, as most people will just deny or say its a lie.

To sum up, FEAR and urge to hide on a safe place, that's what I felt.

oh i've seen lots of ghosts

i moved around rlly often

and for some reason i kept on moving to places that were...

well... already occupied.. (should i say that? i dunno) i saw a little boy ghost. I just saw him sitting in the corner of my room and i couldn't move. So i just lay there, freaking out. it was the last i saw of him. The next one was actually my dead great grandmother. She actually talked to me can u believe it? She told me to tell my family that everything was going to be ok. three weeks after her death, she came to me in a dream and said sorry. when i woke up in the morning, i found out that my grandfather (her son ) died at night. I was pretty spooked out. I had to go to hospitals and places that said that they could read my mind or something. They claimed that i actually had a spirit (other than my soul) inside me so i had to undergo things like lying down and getting unconcious for the guy to talk to the spirit. I've had some pretty crazy times and guess what? now i don't see ghosts!

actually the whole entire family on my moms side say that we have seen ghosts at the old house we used to live in san bernardo(santiago de chile) but i never saw it, still i felt something, but i was very young.

then again at a very young age around 7 or 8 i saw a ghost in this old house we lived in åsgata(sandnessjøen, norway)

there had been noises comming from the tool shed in the second floor like every night, somebody pounding on the walls, and walking up and down the stairs, so all the kids used to sleep in the same bed with my mom.

and then one day i saw it.

the ghost looked like a viking, it had a huge cape or robe, and it was standing on top of the staircase, from that moment i just ran, so i cant remember much other than that

people talk about seeing ghosts and its like..'Oh, i think i seen a ghost last night' without really knowing if they did or not but believe me to really see a ghost is scarier than it sounds.  I started work in a nursing home a few years ago.

I worked nights with another girl and we were sat in a big lounge dozing in our chairs, then from across the room a woman in a large hat crossed from the far wall into the opposite wall.  I remember she had a long calf length dress on.  I was literally petrified, i have never been so scared in my life. I couldn't believe what i was seeing.

I yelled at my friend who had her eyes shut , the ghost had gone by then.

It was the most scary moment of my life and to be honest i wouldn't want to see another one.

If you do not believe in ghosts/spirits please just say "NO" or "no i havent experienced anything like that" but don't say "grow up".

Now the question..

Yes I do. Ghosts are merely recordings of what used to be. Just like an impring that does the same thing all the time. easy to clear out not biggie. You cannot communicate with a ghost and those are usually visible full bodied...

spirits are actual beings that used to have a body. usually only visible from the waist up due to their upper chakra (energy wheels) being active and the lower chakras are not visible since they release those upon death. The lower chakras are what connects us and keeps us on this planet.

My experiences? Communication, they can be a bit annoying. I've gotten visits from family and have had messages given during our last samhain ritual.

^_^ and pay no attention to idiots who choose to express their ignorance. These are the same people who probably scream "devil worshiping liar" when you give an explanation on a subject that they do not know about or even understand.

Yes i saw a cat's ghost one night i bent down to stroke it just as i did this it disintegrated before my eyes.a few years later a friend told me the same thing happened to him so maybe it was more than just my mind playing tricks on me
