Has any one ever seen a white bat? (Animal not baseball)?

I live in Buffalo NY and I just saw a totally white bat. (No, it was not a bird.) I didn't even know there was such a thing as a white bat. Maybe it is a fluke of nature....like an albino or something.

hah that is weird, the only time ive seen a white bat is in the movie  ace ventura, haha thats really weird though.

yeah, there is a possibility that it's an albino

I believe it was an albino bat. Those are rare. Take a picture of it the next time you see it and present it to a zoologist.

There are naturally white bats but none in North America that I know of.  Either one of these :

Is far, far from home or you saw an albino native bat.
