  1. i havent heard of the last two so they're probs really really far out

and weribee is really far out, like i'm pretty sure at least an hour

and it stinks cos there's a sewage plant there

it's so far out that they have an open range zoo there

and i think you have to catch the vline to get to melbourne which is not a good sign

  2. They were areas where they made the TV series "Blue Heelers". Those and Williamstown.

My step brother built a place in Werribee, the other step brother built in Diamond Creek. Werribee is nicer - not so hectic.

All the places you mention are semi rural - Lot's of farms, and not really part of the rat race as yet.

  3. IMHO, I wouldn't personally live there because I like my cafes and lifestyle next to the crowds.

All these suburbs are located in the western part of Melbourne city. Out of those 3 suburbs, I'd definetely choose Werribee :)

    Werribee

    - Industrial area with lots of new residential area

    - You can get nice houses in an affordable price (in comparison to any other part of melbourne city)

    - approx 30 minutes drive via a freeway directly to Melbourne city

    - approx 40 minutes by train directly to Melbourne CBD

    - There's a nice Werribee Mansion (luxury hotel) and Werribee Open Range Zoo

    Wyndham Vale

    - Further out than Werribee from Melborune CBD (approx 8km from Werribee)

    - A little bit remote than Werribee

    - Your children have to travel to Werribee or Hoppers Crossing (next to werribee) if you want to go to school

    Tarneit

    - Location wise is similar to Wyndham vale

    - Lots of Argicultural land

    - If you enjoy rural life, then this is perfect.

    Hope this helps :)

  4. Silkin has covered much of it add to it the areas I put in the other post :)

  5. Wyndham vale Werribee & Tarneit are suburbs of Wyndham City they are the outer Western Suburbs of Melbourne and one of the fastest growing areas in the State.

There is a direct rail link to the City or Melbourne (about a 50 min trip) No Jade its not V line but the end of the surburban line.

There are some nice areas out here and the people who bag us have never lived here & probably have no idea whats available in the area.

There is a growing cafe scene in the main strip of Werribee and a few shopping centers to choose from.

Housing is more reasonable than inner suburbs and if traveling out of peak hour the CBD of Melbourne is about 30 minutes away by car on the freeway.

We are 35 km from the city 45 km from Geelong (next city down towards the surf coast.

We also have one of the Zoos out here being the Werribee Open range Zoo

And the Air quality is generally better as the more industrialized (polution) areas are city bound from us down wind as in the southern Hemisphere the weather generally comes from the west.

There is also Werribee south that has market garden farming so some parts seem to be rural for now.

There are many Schools both Private & Public in the area and Many other sporting activities & Gyms for all ages.

For more information check out the Wyndham city council website.

  6. Werribee is a s**+thole.  It's an industrial area.

  7. They are some up and coming suburbs with a few new subdivisions around the area.

  8. I live in WIlliamstown which is i suppose someone may say the nicer end of the western suburbs and werribee tarneit or whyndham vale and defintely not. those places had heaps of cheap community housing built so poorer families could afford comfortable houses.

    BUT

places surrounds werribee such as Point Cook and Sancutary Lakes are very nice new sububs!
