In September, depending on which dates, it should be already pretty ok to find apartments, as most Spaniards have finished their Summer holiday.

3 bedroomed apartments are not so easy to come by, but some are available through www.benidorm-apartments.co.uk.  Another good site for apartments accommodating up to 6 persons in 2 bedrooms is www.benidorm-spotlight.com.  A further site offering privately owned accommodation in the Benidorm area, including 3 bedrooms, is holidaylettings.com.  You deal direct with the owners on this site, and those with availability in September may be open to offers on their property, if they haven't already shown a reduction.  You can see who has no bookings before you take your enquiry any further.  Good luck.
