  1. No, and I dont think anyone will. Think about this for a moment.

In order to move objects and make sounds something has to have a physical mass. Even gravitational and magnetic forces require some mass. So how come we don't have ghost bodies on display at the natural museum of science? There should be some mass, even if just a small amount that we could find some how.

If people die and become ghosts, then there should be ghosts everywhere, and science would have long ago discovered thier nature and the mechanisms that make them possible.

  2. Ghosts are fun to read about and they make good stories around the camp fire.  To date no one has any proof of ghosts.

  3. "Hey,you, dum-dum, look straight behind you", Oops-sorry you just missed the most coolest ghost, ever. Not seen by your lovely eyes, anyway.

  4. no. there is no scientific proof.

  5. No, nobody does.

Othewise, we'd all know about it and scientists around the world would be heralding the discovery of a new type of physics that reveals the existence of strange new phenomena and potentially new lifeforms (ghosts) totally different than in our own realm of physics. That hasn't happened.

The fact that there is no conclusive evidence for ghosts is even recognized by responsible paranormal researchers:

"It is a harsh reality that, in spite of years of research, there is still no conclusive evidence that proves that the spirits of the dead remain behind to haunt our houses. There is no substantial body of validated and replicated research to support that ghosts exist." - see link

  6. Just about any alleged evidence can be suspected or proved as being fraudulent. I think that for most their own personal experiences are usually proof enough for themselves. Blind faith isn't proof either. Look into Remote Viewing for more alleged evidence. Imagine seeing through the ethereal eyes of a ghost.

  7. Scientific American will award $2,500 for either (1) for the first authentic spirit photograph made under test conditions, and (2) for the first psychic to produce a "visible psychic manifestation or both.

  8. No,there's no proof,no evidence and no reason to believe in them. It's a silly childish belief.Fortunately most people stop believing in them as they grow up.

  9. i was staying at an abandoned house on Patterson by Racine in Chicago.   my husband and i were rolling a smoke in the bedroom.  my husband and i saw a shadow (no solid body) going from the living room into the kitchen.  i was not the only one who saw this.  plus when we would sleep in the one bedroom, in the middle of the night you would feel someone playing with your ears.  very weird to say the least.

  10. ghosts are just about as real as God.

no proof of god, and people still beleive in him, right? millions do.

    and some don't.

but we don't have any proof of god.

    neither of ghosts.

but still people believe in them

    and some dont

so it's up to you. =]

  11. Ghosts have been photographed plenty of times, and long before there were sophisticated tricks with photography as there are now.

  12. To anyone who has not seen a spirit or ghost, then they will most likely say, they dont exist.  To anyone who has seen something that cannot be explained rationally, they can go either way, yes it must have been a spirit, or no, my mind is playing tricks.  Unfortunately, proof in the world of parapsychology is difficult to impossible to gain.  In this subject proof is more important when it is personal.  A little like the debate folk have, where is the proof of God.  Its a very personal thing, you know in your heart whether it is there or not, for you.

I have personal proof to me that spirit exists and is all around us.  For years i kept an open mind because I had no personal proof to say yay or nay.  And then just after I buried my beloved cat, after having him put to sleep to ease his suffering, I saw him as clear as life, walk towards me looking extremely healthy and happy again.  Then he disappeared, right in front of me.  He was letting me know he was ok and that I had done the right thing.  Wherever he is, he is feeling and looking good again.  I have also felt the spirits of my father, grandparents etc touch my face and arms.  It was the most incredible experience.

  13. i had a friend who had a sister who went to the house they grew up in and nobody lived at and she took pictures of the house and got the pictures developed. when she picked up the pictures there were figures sitting on the front porch of people that looked familiar but were not there when she took the pictures or so she didnt' see them with her eyes. she didn't touch up the pictures. she was shocked and scared when she picked them up from the photo lab.

  14. It always amazes me how skeptics choose to ignore the conventions and rules of science if doing so helps their cause (in fairness true believers are guilty of this as well).

Science does not provide proof of anything. Science conducts experiments to test hypothesis and either finds evidence to support a hypothesis or fails to find supporting evidence. When this can be duplicated in other well controlled experiments the hypothesis may become generally accepted at least until it is over turned by further experiments.

Next, science attempts to be precise and would start with defining the word ghost - always define what is under study. As far back as 1882 apparition was used to mean the image of person that you know not be physically at your current location (note by this definition crisis apparitions count and the person could still be alive).

The survival hypothesis (ghosts) has many problems including separating information acquired via a ghost from information acquired via ESP. Some parapsychologist speculate that all ghost sightings are hallucinations of the brain trying to process information acquired via ESP so is a hallucination a real ghost? Does a ghost have to have a material substance to be real? Are dreams real?

Certainly well educated credible people have reported seeing ghosts over the year and while witness testimony is enough to send a man to his death in a court of law it is not evidence obtained by a controlled laboratory experiment and thus in some sciences it is dismissed. So, it depends on what you accept as evidence (or proof).

  15. My opinion--yes,  there is proof but for those without an open mind--it would not be proof.  (no,  not in my posession--just an open mind and have some proof)

  16. I once took about 20-30 pictures of an apparition that appeared in my apartment with my digital camera... but as paranormal researchers have discovered, ghosts will drain your batteries and will erase your memory cards! That's why we don't have good ghost photos yet. But when scientists can devise a camera that doesn't work on batteries and memory cards, you'll start seeing tons of ghost photos.

  17. No :)

  18. There are some pretty good fakes.
