Has any one here ever danced at blackpool tower ballroom and how ashamed were they??

my dad taught me to waltz at the blackpool tower ballroom when I was a child and the guy playing the organ came up out of the floor. I was too young to be ashamed but my dad is no longer with us and I am now 56 years old but I would give anything to relive that moment.

I danced at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, I was at a New Years Eve Dance in the 60's.  I was not ashamed at all, it was mostly 60's music, I did a waltz round the dance floor as well.  To be honest I quite enjoyed it, it does not matter what you look like on the dance floor at least you have had the bottle to get up there and have a go!  If anyone decides to take the micky at you, just tell them to come onto the dance floor and show you how its done, watch them disappear.
