Has any one here ever surfed at mavericks here in california?

it was brilliant.the waves were huge.bit scary though with apparent sitings of sharks

Dude, Mavericks isnt just for the average everyday surfer. Plus it only goes off only a couple days out of the year. The waters are shark invested too. No way man. It may be a big wave but naw I'll pass and live.

had a look, wasnt very experienced then, didnt fancy dying that day, so went for a beer instead and watched people get mangled
