Has any one out there ever sold stuff on Ebay?

If so what are some pointers that you could suggest to me?

I would like to sell some items...but not sure how to go about being able to really get them sold to people and what are the best shipping ideas and suggestions on how to ship?

Sourcing products is #1 Priority.

Decide if you want to sell just a few products at high profit margin, or high volume, low profit.

Research using eBay market research what sells well in your product line and what is the average selling price.

Ship safely and quickly

Make sure you definitely post some good photos of what you're selling. People want to see just what they're getting. Get up close, and get photos of each side of the item. People don't want to be surprised with cracks or chips in things.

Be as descriptive as possible, especially if it's a DVD or something, where people want to know what it's rated, what condition the disc and case are in, whether it's full-screen or wide-screen format, and so on.

It's best to check local shipping places for their prices, which depend on where things are being shipped to and the total weight of the package. You can get a good idea from them as to what charges you'll list for shipping fees.

i have and a lot of stuff i am selling right now.well the thing i do is give people free stuff. so loke i give a video game i would give a staten island baseball card or pokemon card.

also you can say on yahoo answers would you buy this item. then some people will watch or buy it.
