But ended up not being able to use them? Do you know their return policy if any? Or will they make an account for me where I can use the ticket later? Or will I just be screwed? The reason I ask is because I want to try and get the cheaper ticket before it expires, but Im still not sure if my friend will be able to come down that day.

  1. he's right.. that's depending on the ticket you bought.. coach or economy class tickets are non refundable and there's a certain fee you have to pay if you wanted to change or cancel the flight.. you'll be having credits to that airline and you could use the credit to book a flight and that's only valid for 1 year i think..

If you wanted a refundable ticket and changes are allowed without any penalties you have to book a first class or business class ticket..

For southwest most of their coach class tickets there's a fee of 75 usd

  2. It really depends on the ticket you bought.

Some of the cheapest ones are non-refundable.
