Yes , it is quite good and interesting .As is V For vendetta by the same author Alan Moore - both are intended for mature audiences ( whatever that means ).

It's amazing, one of the best comics ever produced! It comes from Alan Moore who was the genius behind V for Vendetta (my all time favorite) The plot of watchmen is incredably deep and full of subplots and little things that you don't pick up on the first time you read it, ensuring it's worth re reading. If you only pick up one graphic novel get watchmen (or v for vendetta) auctually anything by alan moore... but yes watchmen is AMAZING!

It's a great book, not just a great comic.  It's not for kids, it's mature and intelligent storytelling.  It's a great book that every comic reader should have in their collection.
