Has any other state in the US besides Kentucky noticed activity towards drilling?

The reason I'm asking this is that I believe they are looking to drill for oil in Kentucky.

natural gas drilling is much more prominent in the U.S.  as far as oil drilling the gov't. either won't build more refinerys or are content to sit on our stockpile.don't look for a crude oil boom like we had in the 80's
